MN defense was on the field too much as their offense isn't much anymore. GB rolls into a NFC North title game next week in Detroit.
 
Was at the game offense is clicking but this secondary is a mess they can't stop a 80 year old woman.

Allison looks like this kid could develop into something and might be a replacement to Nelson or Cobb in a couple years when their contracts are up.

allison is a little slow to be a replacement for nelson (4.67 40 time at the combine and 4.58 at his pro day). but he could be very effective in the slot. he had some nice plays against the vikings for sure.
 
Ho Ho Ho.....What a wonderful Christmas! First- we have a lot of defensive problems, but what an ass kicking! 38-13 before we went to our classic prevent nothing defense? How embarrassing that we were able to pull our QB with 9 minutes left in the game! The vikings win the most overrated roster in the NFL! Just for fun we turned on the viking radio broadcast and listened to their announcer pout for the last twenty minutes..PRICELESS. It's amazing how high we hold the bar for our team and how low they hold their bar.
Anyway, we executed our offense. MM's best game plan of the year? CMIII and Perry made just enough plays. Our DBs are awful, even HaHa made a horrible mistake in his angle on their longest TD. The vikes didn't get anything we didn't give them. We get two extra days to get ready for the Lions, we're gonna need them. Stafford is a much better QB than Bradford.

AR- He is on another planet right now. He needs to play this way next wknd and all throughout the playoffs for us to have a chance
Nelson- Finally 100%
Oline- They played admirable. Not great but ok.
Allison- I like this kid. Get him on the field.
Matthews- Had some big plays and a big strip sack
Perry- welcome back with 2 sacks.

Adams- Continues to drop balls and TDs. If he does that in the playoffs we lose.
D-Backs- They plain suck
D-Line- They are regressing. Cant stop the run anymore and get no push. Daniels has disappeared again.

Overall great win. D needs to continue to get better. Pray they are playing their best if we get into the playoffs.
 
I think we might have a top 5 O line. They had some issues against MN but Minny's D isn't chopped liver.
 
Didn't see the whole game but not liking how they gave up cheap scores at the end. Lack of killer instinct again..

Other than that a good solid win. Next week everything has to click. You know DET would like nothing better than to knock GB out of the playoffs altogether...
 
one thing that bugged me in this game was the way hyde handled the punt returns. he seemed to take too many risks. there was one punt that he came from 20 yards back and was running at full speed when he just reached up and snatched the ball out of the air. similarly, on another punt he fielded the ball on a bounce while running. i told my son, he's going to muff one of these - and sure enough he did. fortunately we recovered the muff.
