Fun game to watch. They played well in all facets. Can't remember a game quite like that in a long time!
Kicking game - what can you say . . . rock solid. Sign this guy to an extension for Christmas.
Run defense - did what they needed to do, especially early, to take control.
Inexperience at QB - again a non-factor as Love was pretty close to perfect. Heck, even Willis comes into the game and throws an absolute dime.
The only negative in this game is the Watson injury, which didn't look serious and hopefully it isn't. We don't "need" him for a couple of weeks so hopefully, if necessary, he can use that time to heal and get ready for a 4 game playoff run.
Cooper finally played a full game and continues to show he can be a star on this defense. The banged up secondary more than held its own against a somewhat depleted group of Saints pass catchers. Hopefully they'll have their full complement of defenders ready for the playoffs. Down 3/4 starters and still pitching a shut-out gives me hope they can peak at the right time and make a run to the Super Bowl.
