That was a bit too close for comfort type game. But a BIG win nonetheless! We have to fix the run defense or kiss any run into the playoffs good bye. FYI... @rpiotr01 I don't think it's all on those DT. LBs are not filling gaps, and Hafley stunted into the play more than once.

Offensively, I still think we need to work on our run blocking.

Let's enjoy it and get ready for a tough road trip to Denver.

Valentine still seems like 1 or 2 times a game he gets lost on who he should cover allowing a big pass to happen. I like the guy think he has talent but needs to fix these simple mistakes.

Woo Hoo! Whenever you beat the Bears, especially in an important game it's a great day. Mostly a solid day on both sides of the ball, but there's still work to be done, especially run blocking, as Mark said above. It does seem though that the o-line had gottrn marginally better at pass blocking in recent weeks.

That 17 play drive was the only real ugly part of the game on defense. Yes, they miss Wyatt, but more importantly Gute let Sanders walk and traded Clark without adequately replacing them, leaving the team short on big uglies. Had those 2 guys been there today, this game would have been a much more comfortable win IMHO.

This was a very nice win. Yes, some things still to clean up but this team can peak at the right time. Just keep plugging. Get those new DTs up to speed and get them in the rotation.
