Solid win for GB tonight, not much to complain about. Jacobs, Love and Kraft with solid nights on offense. The defense did enough.

I wasn't a fan of straight cover 3... the few times he mixed in cover 1 or played Nickle it completely screwed up Miami. He got lucky they didn't have a very good feel for the game at all.I think the one thing to get nit picky about was perhaps taking the foot off the gas at halftime. That said, it worked. The offense chewed up enough clock, about 13 minutes in the 2nd half, that Miami couldn't score enough points. It also didn't help that Tua and his receivers started hitting their stride and doing what they do well, which probably played as much of a role as anything on them giving us a few panic attacks.. Defense was playing cover 3 in the first half to try and keep the speed of Miami's receivers in front of them, and Miami just couldn't take advantage consistently enough to sustain drives. In the 2nd half they took advantage of that soft coverage, but were forced to dink and dunk and use up clock, which was the strategy. The strategy worked, which is why teams do it.
Tonight was Matt LaFleur’s 65th career regular-season win, moving him past Bill Cowher, Mike Holmgren and Andy Reid for sole possession of the No. 2 spot for the most wins by a head coach in his first six seasons behind only George Seifert (75), per the Elias Sports Bureau.
played cover 3 almost all night... losing what was the #4 CB on the first play altered his game plan. Now we maybe short both at LB and corner.Good game to be at. The halftime show was good.
The refs were trash. 3 times replay had to over rule the refs on calls on field. Also BS they did not call PI on Miami at end of game.
Though several times on D I thought GB had gone back to the Joe Barry prevent D just allowing 10-15 yard chunk plays.
There are a couple decent vet CB's out on market I would have at least called them see if they would do tryouts to see if anything was left. Gute just doing nothing is unacceptable.played cover 3 almost all night... losing what was the #4 CB on the first play altered his game plan. Now we maybe short both at LB and corner.
Time to call up Kalen King from the PS and see what he has. There are a couple decent vet CB's out on market I would have at least called them see if they would do tryouts to see if anything was left. Gute just doing nothing is unacceptable.
