Post Game: GB 30 Baltimore 7

So he pretty much said what we have sucks but we are unsure there is going to be anything better cut and if there is we don't know if we have waiver priorty to get them so might have to ride with what we got.

Carlson's XP % last season (Extra Point!!) would have placed 14th amongst active kickers with 20 or more attempts if we simply considered them actual field goals. THAT is insanity. This is why I've been so upset about Carlson and the FG kicking unit as an entity.

Everything ST was supposed to improve measurably with Bisaccia who was promoted to assistant HC. All we've seen is a very sub-par ST unit as a whole and a hand-selected kicker who is one of the worst kickers in the NFL. It's a total quagmire.

I don't think Joseph is anything to write home about, but Carlson was not good last year and today missed a 34 yard field goal in 75 degree weather with no wind. By a lot. When he's kicking for his job. If he makes the team, he'll be good for two losses this season.

This.
short field goal, no pressure, no wind . . . just sailed it wide right. And he missed a similar FG in the playoff game against SF that cost us a chance to win.
