Post Game Eagles Edge Out Packers 10-7

The offensive line is not good. The coaches should know that and should not be running long developing plays. They should design plays that hit quicker.
i have definitely seen other team do exactly that this season, especially when dealing with an injured ol. i've seen teams using plays where the qb is getting rid of the ball in less than two seconds - sometimes less than 1.5 seconds. i know ml has said he's not changing his scheme, but he needs to consider some tweaking then. and stop running on second down every freaking time.

Another interesting angle of the play. From this angle it looks like Jacobs maybe could've made that cut

it does look that way in slow motion. but we don't know how it would have changed other players' trajectory had he cut that way. i forget, wasn't there an offensive penalty on the play anyway?

there was a penalty but if Jacobs got the yardage then it would've been 4th and 6, at least we'd have another shot at it.

Well, it's a one-cut-and-go inside zone O... JJ has been missing some of those. I agree with the post... the gap is there. Lack of vision and patience... I guess it pissed me off he was so quick to call, they knew the play okay, BUT it's there, so quit bitching and execute.

This was the crap he pulled in Vegas before they moved on.

There was a lot going on and a lot went wrong by pretty much all parties, but the knee jerk "blame Love" stuff looks dumber and dumber the more you look at it.

You'll never convince me that if the opposing Linebacker is yelling out the play and where the running back is going to run, that the correct option is to hand off to the running back to go exactly where the Linebacker is calling out he's going and has rallied his troops to that spot.

The Eagles blew that play up. I don't believe Jacobs or even Barry Sanders in his prime could have made that cut. He is not the 'Hernandez Loogie.'

I want Love to be great. He wasn't THAT play. If the Pack is ever going to win a championship the Pack needs more from him.

To me LaFleur seems to be pulling back on the reigns instead of giving them to Love. I believe the Pack would be better off giving the keys to Love and riding that horse. I believe if we did that, we wouldn't have been in the situation we were.

And, yes maybe Jacobs could have and should have tried to make the cut. But, as happens all too frequently, he was facing opponents in the backfield.

We'll find out Sunday.

Go Pack Go! Find a way
