Packers To Hire Matt LaFleur As HC

Real low key hire with WR coach guy who has spent it seems who coaching career at a smaller school.
 
This will be a pretty young and unproven coaching staff for most part. They will either succeed by doing things that other teams have not seen much with new plays and scheme's or the inexperince will get them crushed.

For offense, I agree.

I think defense under Pettine will improve. Especially if they get the “Edge” issue fixed

  • Offense -- Coordinator: Nathaniel Hackett; Offensive line: Adam Stenavich; Quarterbacks: Luke Getsy; Receivers: Alvis Whitted; Running backs: Ben Sirmans*; Tight ends: Jason Outten.
  • Defense – Coordinator: Mike Pettine, Defensive line: Jerry Montgomery; Inside linebackers: Kirk Olivadotti; Outside linebackers: Mike Smith; Defensive backs: Jason Simmons*
  • Special teams -- Shawn Mennenga
  • Strength and conditioning -- TBA
 
Mark.............Have they released the S&C guys at this point? Or, are they "technically" still on staff?
 
pulling for Whitted. He went to HS with a few of my friends here in NC and they are still close with him today. High character dude that's hungry.

Sign of the times that im getting old. Friends went to school with one coach and I played against another all through HS. haha

Now land a S&C crew from this decade and we will be sitting nice
