Packers legend Bart Starr dies at 85

I read that the Starr family is considering a public celebration of his life in Green Bay.

Ya think that might shut down the city for a day? Maybe most of the State of WI?
I could see them host event at Lambeau and have 60K people show up

City maybe state no

It will be a special day state wide I'd guess. If they hold it at Lambeau, they can fill that place. They should do it, and charge $20 a ticket, and give it all to Rawhide in honor of all the work he did for them. It would be the last, ultimate gesture from him and his fans.

Had the book as a kid, of course it was gone. Took my mom to lunch in a little place in Beloit, WI which also had a used book section where you could grab a cup o' jo and read or buy them. My sisters and mom didn't understand why I had to buy the book. (I think my mom had stuffed my Christmas stocking with it.) Double great memories
