Packers 2024-25 Season Thread

Interesting. I don’t think I’ve seen him speaking this directly about one of his cuts before. Wonder if he feels like he has egg on his face? Just speculating the personal bit there but it’s unusual for Rich B.

Jeff Hafley on his mindset entering 1st game as NFL def. play-caller: "We’re gonna work really hard, I’m gonna have the (call) sheet in front of me and we’re gonna let it rip. … I trust the players. I trust the staff. They just gotta go play & execute & I’m excited about that."

Packers announce for opern in Brazil they will wear home greens. So much for the rumor that you can't wear green because of gangs or that the stadium banned green because it's the color of their biggest rival soccer team.

I believe that was a misinterpretation from day one. The whole idea of not wearing green at their stadium was more along the lines that we see in the NFL. You don't want to wear Bears gear at a Packer game, except in the NFL, the fans are more tolerant.

They were trying to say that when their team plays the team from Rio, or wherever it is they have green jerseys, in Sao Paulo, you shouldn't wear the green jersey of the opposition.

But, like so much else, people would rather go off on tangents and turn it into a pissing match. The headline making it look like you'd be in danger drew a lot more flies to it than one that just said what it really was.

Yep if true I think a vast majority of fans going to game would be in danager since most fans would be wearing Green. Also if this held any truth at all the NFL in the first place wold have picked two teams that did not have any green in their team colors.

Or, if they thought it was a dangerous environment, not even scheduled a game in Sao Paulo. They know Packer fans will be out on the road to watch them play.

Packers new practice squad safety Omar Brown received a $245,000 salary guarantee as an undrafted free agent from the Broncos - rather significant so there much be some talent there that Denver was, and now Green Bay is, trying to unlock.
