The Wisconsin Badgers will have to play their third quality opponent of the young season when the take on the Oklahoma Sooners from the Big 12 conference on Sunday afternoon.

After reaching the National Championship game and losing multiple key pieces, the Badgers started the season slow with a loss to Western Illinois in the season opener before two wins against Siena and North Dakota. The Badgers then played in the 2K Classic at Madison Square Garden, losing by 10 points to Georgetown before bouncing back with a one-point win against VCU. The Badgers play Prairie View A&M before their big non-conference showdown.

The Sooners have real plans to make noise atop the Big 12 conference this season, led by last season’s Big 12 Player of the Year, Buddy Hield. The Sooners started the season fast with a six-point win on the road against Memphis before winning by 29 points against McNeese State. Like the Badgers, Oklahoma has an easier game against Incarnate Word before hosting the Badgers at the Lloyd Noble Center in Norman, Oklahoma on Sunday, November 29th at 2:30 PM ET.

Secondary market Sooners tickets have been steadily dropping in the past two weeks. According to TotallyTickets.com, the average ticket price for Sunday’s game was at $119.67 on November 1st. One week later on November 8th, the average ticket price fell nearly $30 to $93.36 and continued to fall to $85.65 by November 15th. Currently, the average ticket price is $76.19 and has a get-in price of only $15 and still has room to drop with almost a full week to go until tip off. With it being Thanksgiving weekend, many students will be traveling home from campus, which could lead to a bigger fall as Sunday comes along.

Hield is continuing his stellar play from last season, averaging 27 points, 5.5 rebounds and two assists during the first two games of the season. Hield scored 30 points in the season opener against Memphis and shot nearly 70% against McNeese State in a 24-point effort. Bronson Koenig has been the best player for the Badgers thus far, averaging 17.6 points per game and averaging 35 minutes per game. Nigel Hayes is their all-around threat, averaging 14.8 points per game and 3.6 assists.
