I just think it's easy to be critical but as a franchise, we are really blessed. Imagine being a Browns fan or Bears fan.good post. i haven't seen much whining and bitching outside of shout, but the rest of your post is spot on.
lol. no thanks.Imagine being a Browns fan or Bears fan.
To me it’s just a trend thing. From 2019-2021, GB was in the NFCC two out of three years. From 2022-2024, two of three years GB ended their regular season at home getting outplayed, out hit, and out coached by moribund teams with nothing to play for. It’s not about any individual play, drive, game or even season. Just a broad trend.I gotta ask... what's with all the whining and bitching? Green Bay is 11-6 in the playoffs. I think you all forget that Det, Chicago, and MN reloaded with high picks for a long time, two of those teams actually hired decent head coaches after 20 years of idiots.
Meanwhile, we kept winning consistently and got saddled by a certain QB and a certain OT with high cap numbers and some iffy draft picks by Gute. ( Our GM should get more heat) It's been one hell of a long successful ride. If our "down" year is 11-6 that's not much to complain about.
you know, i wouldn't have minded if we ended the regular season at home getting outplayed, out hit, and out coached today by the bears if we had just rested our starters for the whole game.
And KC is getting beat 31-0 in their last game... a great record and they squeaked by at least 1/2 of their games( they did not dominate) but hey they are going for a 3-peat... to be 100% honest your expectations are unrealistic in an NFL with shortened camp and OTA and with a brutal long run compared to years past.To me it’s just a trend thing. or maybe the eagles have an awful game. it could happen.Even so, you never know. Somehow they might get it together for the next game. (glass half-full.....I know)
Look, I'm a ML defender. I think he's a great coach who is coaching a roster without a single blue chip player. It's tough to go the distance without a single blue chip player on the roster. But I also listen to Dan Campbell talk about doing all the things that don't take talent, and I watch this team this year and I don't see it all the time. I think they're missing some focus, some attention to detail, and they're tight. We'll see how things shake out next week and beyond, but the air from last season has been let out of the balloon quite a bit and the FO needs to add some more juice to the roster. And KC is getting beat 31-0 in their last game... a great record and they squeaked by at least 1/2 of their games( they did not dominate) but hey they are going for a 3-peat... to be 100% honest your expectations are unrealistic in an NFL with shortened camp and OTA and with a brutal long run compared to years past.
And I will repeat we knew coming in the past 3 years the challenges of personal and depth, we discussed them all on many occasions yet you all are here acting surprised when those very issues are really what hinder us weekly.
But Dan is playing with 5 years of high draft picks and better FA talent. You can hark on all that other stuff but talent matters and we don't have enough....everything else won't matter until they fix it.Look, I'm a ML defender.
