The Green Bay Packers will face their longtime rival, the Chicago Bears, on Sunday.
  • Dating back to 2000, this is the third time the Packers will play the Bears coming out of the bye (2021 and 2014), both wins, but the first time they will play at Chicago following the bye.
  • Overall, the Packers have won 10 straight games against the Bears, tying the longest winning streak by either team in the history of the series (10 straight by Green Bay from 1994-98). The two 10-game streaks are the longest any team has against the Bears. The 10-game streak is also the longest current streak by an NFL team against a single opponent. Bears are 4th in pass defense and near the bottom of the league in rushing defense. We should be running the ball 30-35 times this game and just using the pass game for play action. This should not be a complicated game plan.

The Bears offense is not good. This defense needs to dominate early and hold them under 20 points.

Sorry but I have not seen this team dominate anyone all year. I do not see it happening now.

I think we come out rusty after the buy and the offense takes awhile to get going. The 2nd half we turn it on a little and barely win this game.

i think weeks 2&3, when the defense had to control the game because we had a backup qb leading the offense, the defense was pretty dominant. they gave up a total of 24 points in those two games. i also think the defense was fairly dominant in week 6 against the cardinals, holding them to just 13 points.

i don't understand how they can play so well when they know they have to protect the offense. did hafley spend more time developing the game plan? are the players more inspired by the backup qb? i hope the rivalry between the packers and bears along with the extra week to prepare leads to a dominant performance against the bears.

1. Quality of opponents, 2. personnel available. Indy and Tenn in weeks 2-3, they stink. Looking back the AZ win looks pretty impressive, I dont think AZ has lost a game since then. But in that game Evan Williams cemented himself as a starting S and Jaire was healthy. Not so the last couple weeks. Williams really makes a big difference because of his ability to play competently near the LOS and in coverage.
