The Green Bay Packers travel to Buffalo to take on the Bills in the preseason finale this Saturday.
  • This will be the 14th time that the Packers and Bills will square off in the preseason, with Green Bay holding a 10-3 advantage in the series.
  • The last time the two teams met in the preseason was in 2009 in Green Bay, with the Packers winning, 31-21.
  • This is the first preseason trip to Buffalo for Green Bay since 2005, a 27-7 victory by the Bills.
  • Dating back to 1970, this is the 42nd time the Packers have finished the preseason against a team from the AFC.

The top-notch broadcast team includes CBS's Kevin Harlan (play-by-play) alongside fellow CBS broadcaster and Pro Football Hall of Fame receiver James Lofton (analyst), with former Green Bay fullback John Kuhn and Lance Allan of WTMJ-TV serving as the sideline reporters. Allan will also host an informative half-hour pregame show.

Milwaukee's WTMJ (620 AM), airing Green Bay games since November 1929, heads up the Packers Radio Network that is made up of 49 stations in four states. For a full listing of radio affiliates, go to www.packers.com. Wayne Larrivee (play-by-play) and two-time Packers Pro Bowler Larry McCarren (analyst) call the action. McCarren first joined the team's broadcasts in 1995 and enters his 26th season calling Packers games. After originally being paired together in 1999, McCarren and Larrivee enter their 22nd season of broadcasts together. They surpassed Jim Irwin and Max McGee for the most regular-season and postseason games broadcast for the Packers with 313 at the 2018 season opener against Chicago.

Why would you play them 1 play? That's as stupid as running play with 3 seconds left in the half from your own 15.
 
Bad headline ....they meant 1 series. Chiefs starters played a bunch last night vs Vikings and looked really good. I am not a fan of sitting starters through the whole preseason.
Packers are going to look rough week 1 vs Saints Saints played starters they will be in more tune. GB starters have zero time besides running thru drills in shorts
 
I don't mind about the starters playing one way or the other. Good teams and good orgs seem split on the issue, I see it either way.

My only concern this preseason really has been the carelessness with the ball, seems like a lot of botched handoffs this year, lot fo fumbles, couple picks. Not used to seeing so much of that in GB.
 
Love is just going out there to loosen up. He's not going to do anything of value. Might only be one series. They just want him to feel the field in game conditions. It might be the last time he does for a while.
