Green Bay will finish the regular season with a road trip to Ford Field to play the Detroit Lions.

The Packers are closing out the regular season against the Lions for the fourth straight year and the fifth time in the last six seasons.
The Packers lead the regular-season series, 99-72-7 (.576), and have won both postseason contests the two have played.
Green Bay’s 99 wins over the Lions are the most the Packers have against any team.
Dating back to 2007, Green Bay has won five of seven games played between the two in Week 17, with the winning team scoring 30-plus points in each of those games.
Green Bay is looking to sweep the regular-season series with Detroit for the first time since 2016 and for the 11th time in the last 20 seasons (since 2000).
Green Bay has a 28-11 overall mark against Detroit since 2000, a .718 winning percentage that ranks No. 2 among NFL teams (Minnesota, 29-11, .725) that have played the Lions 10-plus times over that span, according to pro-football-reference.com.
The Packers are closing out the regular season with two road games for the first time since 2004 when they played at Minnesota and Chicago.
With 12 wins, Head Coach Matt LaFleur is tied for the fifth most wins by an NFL head coach in their first season (Jim Caldwell and George Seifert had 14 and Jim Harbaugh and Steve Mariucci had 13).

RODGERS AND THE LIONS

Rodgers has led the Packers to 14 wins in 19 games as a starter against the Lions, completing 389 of 592 passes (65.7 pct.) for 4,809 yards (253.1 per game), 39 touchdowns and seven interceptions with a passer rating of 107.7.
Rodgers has recorded a 100-plus passer rating 12 times against Detroit, including three of the last five times has faced them.
The Packers have won 11 of the 12 games against the Lions when Rodgers recorded a passer rating of 100-plus.

IN WEEK 17

With QB Aaron Rodgers as the starter, the Packers are 6-3 in Week 17 games, including 3-1 against Detroit. Rodgers’ only loss against the Lions in Week 17 came last season in a game where he only threw five passes before an injury ended his day.
Rodgers has recorded a passer rating of 115.0-plus in five of the nine Week 17 games he has started (126.0, 139.6, 131.8, 117.1, 132.2).

McCarren first joined the team’s broadcasts in 1995 and enters his 25th season calling Packers games. After originally being paired together in 1999, McCarren and Larrivee enter their 21st season of broadcasts together. They surpassed Jim Irwin and Max McGee for the most regular-season and postseason games broadcast for the Packers with 313 at the 2018 season opener against Chicago.
