My Grandson! A 7th grader, already showing he can play football. Several DI schools have made it a point to stop by and say "Hello!," to our daughter at his games, saying that they intend to keep in touch. He's going to end up a real catch for someone in several years.
Absolutely no athletes on my wife's side. But, everyone on my side is an athlete, or was an athlete. The looks? My wife! I'm more of a mud fence.
He's so fast that it's scary. The track coach is excited, because he sees him breaking the lower distance race records by the time he's a sophomore in HS.
I thought it was all BS, when my daughter told me how fast he was. Then I had the opportunity to talk to the track coach, who said that he's so fast that he should be groomed for the Junior Olympics, because he could become a world class sprinter.
His Daddy wasn't an athlete either, surprisingly. It's too bad he's not here to see it though. He was murdered by a guy trying to hijack his car.
