Throughout the draft process, Ford continues to rise and teams in the top 20 have him in the running for their pick. Sources say that Ford really interviewed well at the combine. Teams really like his flexibility and rare athleticism. Ford was the starting right tackle for the Sooners, but some sources say that he also could be a good a guard in the NFL. Others think that Ford could stay on the edge, and some think a team could get away with him at left tackle. Some sources have compared Ford to Pro Bowler Duane Brown.

Height: 6-3. Weight: 228. Arm: 34.88. Hand: 9.88.

Bench: 27. Vertical: 40.5. Broad: 11-2.
Metcalf was the talk of the Friday sessions of the combine after he ripped off a devastating 40-yard dash in 4.33 seconds. On top of showing an elite combination of size and speed, the sculpted wideout did well in the field drills, catching the ball and showing off better-than-expected route-running. After his phenomenal workout, Metcalf looks like a secure first-round pick despite coming off a season-ending neck injury and not having much development in his route-running from college.
Round 2, #12 Dexter Lawrence*, NT, Clemson
Height: 6-4. Weight: 350.
Projected 40 Time: 5.00.
Lawrence was a tremendous freshman to help Clemson win the National Championship. NFL sources raved about Lawrence in the 2017 season, because he was impossible to ignore in 2016. Lawrence was an All-Freshman selection all over the nation while being the ACC Rookie of the Year for that season. He totaled 63 tackles with 9.5 tackles for a loss, seven sacks and a pass batted as a freshman. One national scout for a NFC team told me that they thought Lawrence was among the two most disruptive defensive linemen in 2016, along with Alabama's Jonathan Allen.
Round 3, #12 Germaine Pratt, ILB, N.C. State
Height: 6-2. Weight: 240. Arm: 31.63. Hand: 9.00.
40 Time: 4.57.
Bench: 24. Vertical: 32.5. Broad: 9-8.
In 2018, Pratt totaled 104 tackles with 10.5 for a loss, six sacks, two forced fumbles and three passes broken up. The senior played really well. He is a strong and physical run defender with the ability to defend sideline-to-sideline. Pratt also has shown some pass-coverage skills, and that is not that surprising considering he came to N.C. State as a safety. Pratt could be a three-down starting inside linebacker early in his NFL career. He had a solid combine.

The speedster Love was banged up in 2018, plus defenses sold out to stop him. As a result, his numbers were down year over year. In 2018, Love averaged 4.6 yards per carry for 665 yards with six touchdowns. He had 18 receptions for 80 yards as well. He missed the Sun Bowl as he was recovering from December surgery for a torn ACL

Height: 6-3. Weight: 317.
Arm: 32.75. Hand: 9.25.
Projected 40 Time: 5.27.
Davis earned an invitation to the Senior Bowl after a strong 2018 season. He competed well in Mobile, but he really looks like a guard for the next level. Davis played tackle at Charlotte, but given his size, he probably will have to move inside to guard or center in the NFL.
Round 5, #12 Zach Gentry*, TE, Michigan
Height: 6-8. Weight: 262.
Projected 40 Time: 4.80.
For the NFL, Gentry projects as a Y tight end who contributes as a blocker with the ability to contribute some as a receiver. With his size, Gentry should be a nice red-zone target. In 2018, he notched 32 receptions for 514 yards and two touchdowns. In 2017, he totaled 17 catches for 303 yards and a touchdown.
Round 6, #12 Saquan Hampton, S, Rutgers
Height: 6-1. Weight: 205.
Projected 40 Time: 4.55.
In 2018, Hampton recorded 65 tackles with 13 passes broken up and three interceptions. He is a solid sleeper safety who is going under the radar, but he helped himself with a good combine.

Height: 6-1. Weight: 200.
Projected 40 Time: 4.55.
Smith had only one year of serious playing time at Alabama, but he turned in some solid production in 2018 with 60 tackles, three interceptions and five passes defended. Smith has versatile size and upside to grow. The junior college transfer started out as a starter, lost his starting spot for part of the year, and then returned to the starting lineup in Week 7 for the remainder of the season after Trevon Diggs was injured.
