I hear a lot of bravado from players, and I hear others talk about how they played poorly, and do everything they can to improve their game. I'm hearing the latter from from Graham Mertz. I think he sincerely plans on putting a solid game together when the Badgers play Indiana.
The proof is in the pudding, as they say. If he does bounce back, and he can become the QB we saw for two weeks, this could turn into a Badgers win. With Penix unable to play, Indiana is not going to be nearly as good on offense. The guy can make you pay for overly aggressive rushes to the QB, without respecting lanes. Without him, they're still good, but not Penix level.
I see the Badgers run game picking up 200 yards, and Graham throwing for about 250, with a 75% completion percentage, and no INTs. Probably 2 TDs.
Badgers 34 Hoosiers 20
