Holiday & Middleton add gold

I don't know if USA wins these games without Holiday's D.

I watched the last 2. What stood out to me is how good Tatum is, how dominant Durant is in all phases and underrated Holiday is.

That's what it's all about. Just get it done. On a side note, the Gable Steveson gold Medal wrestling match was a story of never giving up when down a few points and only a handful of seconds left in a match. Always nice seeing the US get the Gold, no matter the sport!

Not to get to far off topic but the men’s 400 hurdles was one of the best events I ever saw. 1-2-3 all broke the world record
 
Right now looks like China will win the gold count as they have 38 compared to USA 36 though USA by far as total medal count.

Actually they used to use a points count years ago, to decide who was doing best. It's based on the gold being worth 4 points, silver 2, and bronze 1.

That would be:
China
Gold 38 x 4 = 152
Silver 31 x 2 = 62
Bronze 18 x 1 = 18
Total: 232 points

US
Gold 36 x 4 = 144
Silver 39 x 2 = 78
Bronze 33 x 1 = 33
Total: 255 points

This is a realistic way of handling the medal question. It gives weight to the gold, yet doesn't dismiss the other two levels.

It's how I've always viewed the games, when it comes to accomplishment.

Green had a solid Olympics all the way through. He was a steady contributor, while others were up and down. His defense was excellent, and his shooting was dead on.
