RIP Frank...he honed his craft for sure. It was a testament to his regard for the sport when he remained so long on MNF after Cosell and Meredith left. A lot of people may think of the picture of Bednarik hovering over a knocked out Gifford but when they say Frank Gifford, I think of a hell of a football player and athlete. He didn't make the HOF on his looks. The guy could play some football.
