GB needs a good young developmental QB. You can't bank on health all the time.

Poor class this year. I'd take Mariota at #30 and develop him but beyond that, not sure I see the value and return on investment.

I wonder if in the 3rd if Petty is still there Ted would pick him? This kid did come to GB for a visit and I don't think Ted is the kind of guy who would bring in a player like this just for show.

I'd rather have Petty in the 3rd than a waste of a pick like Thornton was last year...

would take Petty in the third or fourth. He's got some work to do. But I think he has all the basics to be a decent NFL QB> Plus time on the bench learning from Arod. Even if he turns into a good QB you have to let go it'd be worth it.
