While Green Bay prepares for Sunday's game against Detroit, colorblind NFL fans had a tough time with Thursday night's Buffalo-New York contest.

As one might expect from a team that has lost two straight games, much of the discussion about the Green Bay Packers this week has been revolving around the struggles of the team as a whole and of individual players and units on the team. Eddie Lacy's demotion to second-string running back has been one of the biggest storylines this week, as has the Packers' inability to get to the quarterback in recent weeks.

One of the positives, though, has been the Packers' first-round draft pick this spring, as Damarious Randall has been inching closer and closer to assuming the primary boundary corner job opposite Sam Shields. We named him our pick for Packers' rookie of the year for the first half of the season, and he has been playing as well as or better than any other rookie corner in the league this year.

Check out pieces on those topics and more in today's curds.

Eddie Lacy can't explain why he has struggled so mightily this season, but Brian Carriveau thinks that ball security and health are the reasons why rather than weight or anything else.
