So the Crew made a bit of a splash by signing away FA 2B Kolten Wong, who had been with the Cardinals.

Deal I saw is 2yr, $18m w/ 3rd year club option that would turn deal into 3yr $26m. He had turned down a $12.5m option from the Cardinals to hit the market.

Wong has career .855 OPS at Miller Park, and in the last two years had .279avg and .358 obp hitting from the leadoff spot and was the Gold Glove 2B in the national league last year.

Brewers beat writers on Twitter are assuming this means Hiura moves to 1B.

Hiura has been a error machine at 2B. Hopefully the move helps him.

He can also hit lead off, does not strike out much and nice OBP
Only issue is Hiura is pretty short I think around 5'8 or so. That is pretty short for a 1B.
