Here’s hoping Brewers fans have lots of patience. If you weren’t already aware that it’s going to take some time for the team to return to playoff contention, the trade of first baseman Adam Lind last week should have been a wake-up call.

They are doing an almost complete tear-down and rebuild. They will probably lose close to 100 games each of the next 2 seasons at least.
 
Long road ahead don't see a lot of hope if it's being torn apart. Revenue issues will become more of an issue.
 
How so Pack. Seems like the fixed revenues will stay the same - local and national broadcast money, revenue sharing, etc. Variable revenues will likely decrease by say 25-50% but that's a danger every year if the team tanks early. Brewer fans have been pretty loyal, even last year after the team tanked early. They've already cut salary by better than 40% so it seems like they should be just fine. I'm sure they'd love to cut salary even further, but Braun and Garza are just plain untradeable.
 
That's a significant decrease. Brewers local rights broadcast wise is very low. Tickets and merchandise is a key revenue driver. Yes I have concerns
