Black Monday Thread

Atlanta is more likely.
I though LA because they are built more to win now and BB wants to get that coaching record so 2-3 years he gets record and retires and in that time you can hire someone as OC or DC to be groomed under him to take over. Is ATL good enough to get him to the coaching record in the next 2-3 seasons?

NE opening is gonna take the exact right person. Plus they need to hire a GM as well. BB was an awful GM after guys like Pioli left. So I’d imagine GM comes first. Then HC.

BB would get more control in Atlanta.

The one I’m still watching is Steelers. Is it finally time for Tomlin to move on? It’s a dark horse opening for sure. Steelers seem to crave consistency as much as Gb. But if Tomlin and Steelers part ways I look for Tomlin to end up in NE…

No, the owners said he would return next season already. He's safe

Wow, took Kraft almost 15 minutes to hire a new coach. Now he needs to hire a yes-man GM who'll be fine with not having a say in the head coach, unless that's all pre-arranged as well.. This seems an odd way to go about things. Hopefully it works out for them, but I have some doubts.

Possibly someone within the organization who has a good working relationship with Mayo, and had been predetermined a little like it appears Mayo was?

Yeah if they give Mayo GM powers and just hire a GM in name only I think that will turn out bad. You don't give a 1st time HC GM powers that would be to much for them and I think they would fail.

I give Mayo two seasons. He’s like the transition boyfriend after a breakup…
