This isn't the first time this has happened. It seems like almost every time these two guys call a Packer game, there's a petition to remove them, and replace them with someone else.

Although I'll agree that Aikman is a Cowboy, through and through, and Buck is a... let's just say Buck, and probably kisses Aikman's Super Bowl rings each time they meet - they do a "fair job" of keeping any personal feelings out of the games. The only time the "anti-Packer" garbage comes up is when the Packers get ahead, and it looks like Aikman's 'Boys are going down.

I guess we have no choice in the matter. We seem to get saddled with these two supporters of the Brokeback Mountain Cowboys every time we hit a national broadcast.

If you read other teams' fan forums they all complain about Aikman and Buck - including Cowboy fans!
 
I read a lot of the Aikman Buck hate and my response is always the same - I'm sure they're just as sick of the Packers as some fans are of them. Has to be a little irritating to be forced to cover the same team week after week.

Also, let's have a little perspective. They are Foxs top commentary guys and that they cover GB games means 1) a lot of people are tuning in to watch the Packers and/or 2) the games the Pack are playing in are meaningful. It may not always be that way, so enjoy it while you can.

Makes Packer fans look like whiners IMO. Aikman actually isn't that bad. Yes, he was a Cowboy so there probably is some bias. So what? If fans don't want to listen to them then tune in or stream McCarren and Larivee to the game for a biased broadcast toward the Pack. I've done that just because I enjoy their in depth analysis and knowledge of the Pack.

It's not just the Packers fans that hate these two. Personally, I can't believe that these two goons are Fox's, "number 1" team. Really speaks to how god awful the rest of their announcing teams are. Sadly, CBS's crews are just as bad. Sad state of affairs.

The only good crew left IMO is Al Michael's and Chris Collinsworth. Everybody else stinks.

I'll take Aikman and Buck over Collindworth and Michaels. I liked gruden and Tirico
 
To tell you the truth, I've never understood the constant bitching about either one of them. ??

Troy is always excited about Rodger's accomplishments, and Joe Buck...meh. Don't care.

It totally cracks me up! They must be doing something right.
 
The petition was stupid makes fans look petty and foolish. Buck has said pretty much every fan base says he dislikes there team and will call him out for it on both sides after any game he does.
 
One of the nurses that was watching over me during hernia surgery on Friday was wearing a Jordy Nelson jersey (I have no idea why the hospital was okay with that LOL) so we struck up a conversation about the Packers. I was unaware of the petition at the time, and she claimed that she and her boyfriend where the authors of the petition. Small world !!
