Too bad they didn't find their way sooner.

At the same time, yesterday's game was kind of representative of the season.
- Critical missed free throws in the waning minutes - by Iverson and Happ
- Pritzl overthinks things and fails on 3-4 bunnies inside by hesitating long enough for MSU to cover him. Goes 1-7.
- A freshman fails to execute with the game on the line
- Gard does not have them prepared for the end-game. MSU switched on everything. Should have had them prepared for that or should have called a time-out when there was still time to set something up.

Kinda too bad they won't even get a shot at the NIT. They ARE playing better and likely would win a few games.

I think they can go out with their heads high. They came within one shot of it being an OT game against #2 in the nation, in one of the most prestigious pre-NCAA tourneys. They did well.

Next year could be a vast improvement.
