Kind of an ugly, weird game but a road win is always a good thing in the Big-10. They continue to play solid defense, but their offense was so up and down that the game had an ugly sort of herky-jerky feel to it. Those next 4 games are a tough stretch so getting this one was important.

Strange flow to the game. Seemed in control but give Nebraska credit. Agree that defense was outstanding and Thomas gave the team some solid minutes. After Illinois went into Maryland and won any road win is great.
