No word on what players turned down invites besides Winston and Mariota but you figure if you are one of those guys near the end of the list of 28 you turn it down in case you are not a first round pick and even worse not even a 2nd round pick.

Always thought 28 was way way to many guys to invite. Go back to were it use to be they would invite the top 10 guys so at least unless something happens they all go in the first round.

Can't blame them. it's a real drag when they don't call your name.

Who was the QB that ended up in the green room til like the 3rd or 4th round?

A couple OL got picked 66th and 70th overall last year.

Couple of the DL - Hageman and Ealy - expected to go in the 1st went in the 2nd. Morgan Moses went in the 3rd.

Randal Cobb attended the draft thinking he was going in the 1st rd. Being the class act that he is, he came back the next day and waited until the end of the 2nd rd to walk across the stage and shake Goodell's hand.

Forgot that happened to Randall. Gave him a shoulder chip of his own.

My favorite was Joe Thomas - went I think #3 overall to Cleveland and wasn't at the draft or at home, he went out fishing. Don't think he even took a call.

Sorry he's in the bathroom can he call you back? LOL
