So, A.J. will either go to the NBA, or spend another year playing college hoops. He entered the protocol. Apparently deep pockets surrounding Kansas University "found" NIL money in the tune of $750k for him to spend a year as a Jayhawk. Storr countered, wanting $1 mill, and Kansas said they wouldn't budge. Now the waiting game is on, as other schools look to get the money they'd need to get Storr on their team for a year.

For anyone who wasn't listening, when I told them where this was heading, based on insider info at the University of Texas, I'm gonna say it. I told you so. It's no longer a question of how much a kid likes a school, it's all about how much they'll pay him to go there. There's a lot more money out there exchanging hands than anyone really knows. It's past outrageous. The NBA minimum this past year was $1.1 mill, so Storr figures he wants close to that much to "honor a school with his presence."

As much as I liked Storr's game, I don't wish him well.
