League wide camps opening now, some moves:

Patriots claimed WR Kobe Prentice off waivers from the #Panthers.

49ers waived TE Khalil Dinkins, sign TE Tanner McLachlan to a one-year deal.

Giants waived LB Cam Jones and DT CJ Ravenell.

Panthers released T Derrell Bailey, LB Jared Bartlett, and DB Mike Reid.

Ravens released P Luke Elzinga and G Jared Penning, placed DL Nnamdi Madubuike on acting PUP list, but the good news is he’s been cleared by independent spine and cervical doctors to return to field.
 
49ers worked out UFL star QB Jack Plummer today.

Patriots worked out WRs Keagan Johnson, and Casey Washington

Cardinals worked out DB Ryan Cooper, DB Ricardo Hallman, DB DaShawn Jones, and DB Quinton Newsome'

Rams signed QB Ty Simpson.

Jets placed DT T’Vondre Sweat on NFI list
Jets placed DE Tyler Baron and WR Tim Patrick on PUP list

Seahawks terminated the contract of WR Tyrone Broden

Commanders placed DB Trey Amos, DE Dorance Armstrong, DE Deatrich Wise on PUP list
 
The Kyle Shanahan car accident happened on July 14. It was a matter of public record. The 49ers wanted to keep it quiet until training camp opened on July 25. And, instead of reporting publicly-available facts, the reporters who knew about it complied.

Lt. Nicolas Martinez of the Palo Alto Police Department: "There will be no information released regarding the cause of the collision or who was at fault."

not really.....Frankly, I am tired of everyone thinking they have to know this or that. If it were Joe Blow from Second Street in that wreck, no one would really give a crap..... Society as a whole has become a bunch of gossiping old bitties; it's disgusting. Mind your own damn beeswax.
