I get the impression that Ben Johnson would actually prefer to work with this guy as QB1 than Caleb. We will see.
I wonder if GB would consider doing this for Willis?

He reminds me of the way Goff plays, he's willing to make that timing/seam throw that Johnson loves so much. Caleb's game is to scramble and make plays off schedule, Johnson is going to want him to play way more on time.Caleb has some talent, but Bagent appears to be smarter and more coachable.
I think this is the last year of his "affordable" rookie contract. Not sure he's worth $5m/year . .I wonder if GB would consider doing this for Willis?
Do you want a good backup QB you have to pay for or do you want cheap aka late round rookie or UDFA making rookie min and are screwed if something happens to love?I think this is the last year of his "affordable" rookie contract. Not sure he's worth $5m/year . .
Oh, I'm not disagreeing that we need a good backup QB; honestly, I'm not sure what the market is for them and what Willis is worth; maybe it is $5m/year.Do you want a good backup QB you have to pay for or do you want cheap aka late round rookie or UDFA making rookie min and are screwed if something happens to love?
