The Brewers for losing Adames will get a draft pick between the end of the 1st round and the competive blance A round.

Better then getting nothing. This is though normal MLB. Once the big stars hit FA it's 5-10 teams that can afford to pay them and everyone else settles for the 2nd and 3rd tier guys.
 
So reading the Brewers have their own pick in the 20s in the 1st next year, then will be one of the top QO picks for losing Adames after the 1st round picks, Get the top Competive Balance pick after the QO picks, also get 2 picks in the 2nd round. In all Brewers will have 5 picks before the 70th pick in the draft I read.
 
The Brewers are receiving an "overwhelming" amount of attention with respect to closer Devin Williams, according to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic.

Williams, a free agent after this upcoming season, has developed into one of the best relievers in the sport. He's forecasted to make nearly $8 million in arbitration, however, and the Brewers could move him (possibly as soon as this week) to free up funds for other additions.

The Dodgers and Yankees are among myriad teams to express interest in a potential deal.

Soto can either opt out after the fifth year (2029) or receive a $4 million raise per season — from $51 million to $55 million — for the remainder of the contract, per source.
