2025 Badger Football Thread

He has a season of starts under his belt in a QB room with none, I like his film sh))
Good to hear Mark, as his numbers weren't impressive and he's a bit undersized. Both O'Neil and Edwards should hopefully be a step up over Locke - though you never know.

Edwards is probably the bigger step up, but hopefully they can keep both. O'Neil has 3 years of eligibility left, Edwards has one. Likely the Badgers see this as adding immediate help for '25 while at the same time adding an experienced back-up who can play right away in case of injury and maybe start in '26 if the freshmen aren't ready.

100% what I think as well. Good with QB, now they need to find a few DB's and a LB

Badgers have gotten a commitment from safety Matthew Traynor who played last year for Richmond. A bit undersized but is a physical player. Now they need at least one more safety and a cornerback.

I think I like this more than anything. Bucky just hasn't had the guy that scared that led his teammates physically for years. Wohler tried but just didn't get teammates fired up. I really hope this guy lays some lumber and sets the tone for the defense. And, leads or scares his damn teammates into doing the same. Bucky really needs somebody to be that guy.

And, as y'all know, I love the undersized effort guys. Go Bucky

yeah, that sucks big time. that's 656 yards of receiving production from experienced receivers gone. they have to replace that through the portal.

If we can't replace 656 yards of receiving production (54.67 / game), we shouldn't have a football team.

I get it, it would be nice to have them. And, maybe in a better system they would have done better. But, there were many times when Locke hit Bucky receivers in the hands and it wasn't caught.

Supposedly, we now have quarterbacks who can actually throw. We'll see.
