- In walkthroughs:
- Offensive line is Walker - Rhyan - Jenkins - Morgan - Tom
- Elgton Jenkins snapping
- Donovan Jennings making his debut after missing first three practices
- Rhyan has been at LG a good chunk of camp so far. Morgan has been focusing mostly at RG.
- Starters in team:
- Clifford
- Jacobs
- Watson - Reed - Doubs
- Musgrave
- Walker - Rhyan - Jenkins - Morgan - Telfort
- Clifford operating out of the pistol, fake to Jacobs, defense crashes toward the QB run, Clifford hits TE Davis in the vacated space, turns upfield for a decent gain. That’s how to manufacture offense.
- Grant Dubose getting an earful from Matt LaFleur. Not sure what happened. Didn’t see it.
- Bo Melton a bit slow getting up after a play but he gets up and sprints back to the huddle. Catastrophe avoided.
- Impressive play from Josh Jacobs on TE screen to Ben Simms. Jacobs was behind Simms coming out of backfield, but read the flip to Simms in the left flat. Sprinted with the ball in air to get in position to throw a block down the sideline. Always good when the superstars hustle.
- Tyler Davis with a nice block that springs Emanuel Wilson for a big gain down the right side. Wilson setup the play well. He’s had a really nice start.
- Luke Musgrave is really, really tall. Skies to catch a pass down the left seam from Michael Pratt, towering over safety Javon Bullard. Hard to stop that size downfield.
- Dillard gets chance at RT second time through.
- Sean Clifford in the red zone drill: 2-5, sacked twice, and it ends with Carrington Valentine having a heck of a goal line stop holding up Christian Watson from scoring.
- Looked like Sean Clifford was stepped on during a Rashan Gary sack. He hobbled around a bit, but it’s gonna take more than that for him to come out.
- It’s enjoyable watching Tom Clements coach QBs. He’s 71 years young and still will run through the rollout himself to show how he wants it done
- Jacobs scored off a read option to end the drill and practice
- Backup QB Sean Clifford had an ice pack on his ankle after practice today. Limping a bit.
- In walkthroughs:
- Anthony Johnson Jr. with the ones at safety next to McKinney today.
- McDuffie is the nickel LB next to Quay.
- Corey Ballentine is back practicing. He’s in the slot with the 2’s.
- LB Isaiah McDuffie has held onto his spot alongside Quay Walker with the No. 1 defense. Will be a story to follow as camp continues with rookie second-round pick Edgerrin Cooper coming along.
- Starters in team:
- Smith - Wyatt - Clark - Gary
- Quay - Cooper
- Jaire - Nixon - Stokes
- McKinney - Johnson Jr
- Keisean Nixon with a snap at outside corner with the 2’s with Kalen King in the slot.
- Colby Wooden & Brenton Cox combine for a big time tackle for loss on Wilson. Absolutely decimated the right side of the 2nd string o-line.
- Preston Smith just went right through Rasheed Walker for a pressure and possible sack.
- Ty’Ron Hopper with his daily stop at or behind the LOS on a run play.
- Rashan Gary starts red zone period with two straight sacks vs Telfort. He’s been a man on a mission. Preston was close as well.
- Rashan Gary & Kenny Clark just met at the QB — literally. They collided. (All good)
- Third and 2 goal line fade to Watson but valentine stops him short.
- McKinney with a pick-six in red zone. Clifford probably sacked by Enagbare anyway.
- Working at KR:
- Nixon, Josh Jacobs, Jayden Reed, Samori Toure, Stanley, E. Wilson, and J. Howard
- Packers working with a single KR and one player about 10 yards ahead of them. Dillon & DuBose working as the “upback” in the return unit.
- Josh Jacobs taking some turns returning kicks. Not the first time he’s done that in camp. He won’t be the first or even second option with Keisean Nixon and Jayden Reed, but the more you can do.
- Carlson goes 3/3 from 41, 44 and 49.
- Also good from 45R and 47L but missed from 50L off left upright.
- Goes 5/6 today.
- 11/12 overall.
- Joseph goes 3/3 from 41, 44 and 49.
- Joseph good from 45R 47L and 50L
- Goes 6/6 today.
- 11/12 overall.
- No Turner today. He’s been 8/12 so far.
- Punt returners: Keisean Nixon, Jayden Reed, Romeo Doubs, and Dimitri Stanley.

- Matt LaFleur: Presser
- No updates on Love
- The five interceptions at practice on Wednesday might be a record, LaFleur says - I think jokingly. A lot of things at play and not just the QB throwing the pick.
- "I love the fact that our defense is getting after the ball"
- Says that wide receivers have to take some of the responsibility for the five interceptions that took place on Wednesday. He wants them to go after the ball more although he didn't pardon Sean Clifford of some of the responsibility.
- Will be a while before Zach Tom does team drills, likely until after family night.
- Says they will shuffle linemen all camp and not to read too much into certain positions. OT was Kadeem Telfort on Wednesday, Andre Dillard the two days before that. We’ll see who is out there today.
- On Josh Myers is fine coming out of Wednesday's practice but won't be here today for a personal matter.
- Packers will be in pads tomorrow. Says it will help them work on the man run scheme, which they try not to do unless they're in pads. They will be in shells today.
