yeah, pretty much almost every bears fan online is blaming the coaches, and that they have a bad OL. Now, I'm not saying they don't have a bad OL, and that certainly isn't helping . . . . but many of us were never sold that Caleb Williams was worthy of the #1 pick. But the media, despite his mediocre play in 2023, kept pushing the narrative that he is a generational talent, and because they don't want to be wrong they're leading the charge of placing blame elsewhere. Simply stated - they can't, and won't, admit they were wrong.
 
I'm still bullish on Williams' potential, just thought he needed to sit for a year to adjust to the pro game. Guys like Daniels and Nix came in having played, what, 5-6 years of college ball? They learned how to play within a system better than Williams has. Williams also I think had some maturity issues to work through. All good reasons not to throw him into the fire right away. It would take massive organizational strength that apparently the Bears dont have in order to play that pick the right way.

CeeDee Lamb agreed when asked if curtains should be put up at Jerry World when he he said he lost track of the football in the sun.

Jerry's response to that.

"Well let's tear the damn stadium down and build another one? Are you kidding me?" a frustrated Jones responded. "Everybody has got the same thing. Every team that comes in here has the same issues. "I'm saying, the world knows where the sun is. You get to know that almost a year in advance. Someone asked me about the sun. What about the sun? Where's the moon?"

Is he on crack? Yes we know where the sun will be - thats the whole point! It will be shining directly into the eyes of your players while they're trying to play. Put shades over the damn windows it's not that hard. Remove them when the sun goes down.

would probably pay for itself in lower ac costs.
