I have been a long time Aaron Rodgers believer and defender and excuse maker, but is this just it for the guy? You can't blame surrounding talent - they have an offensive rookie of the year, another guy who could've won offensive rookie of the year, they have Adams, they have WR and RB depth, they have competent TEs. You can't blame the offensive system because the offensive system is the way it is because Rodgers refuses to play any other way. I was at that game against the Patriots in September and I thought the Jets could go to the Super Bowl but man they just look like they're slopping around in mud on offense, I don't get it. Makes me look at the common denominator through it all.

It’s hard for a team to overcome such a bad attitude from its QB.
 
Patrick Mahomes confirmed that he wears the same pair of underwear for every game he plays, and only washes them "once in a while." "I mean if we're on a hot streak, I can't wash them, you know? I've just got to keep it rolling," he said. "As long as we're winning, I'll keep the superstition going."

Who is the poor sucker who has to wash that? Hope not the staff or his wife.

when i wash my underwear, i just throw them in the washer. they're usually in the laundry basket and i just dump that in the machine. it shouldn't be a big deal for whoever washes them. but at this rate they won't get washed until after the super bowl.

Saints have fired Dennis Allen after their 7th straight loss Sunday.
 
There is a lot of bad football this year.

After week 9 the half way point in the season there are 9 teams that have only 2 wins.

14 teams have losing records at this point along with 3 teams at .500.

Both the AFC and NFC each have 7 winning teams. Just enough to fill up each playoff slot and not have a .500 or worse team make the playoffs.

This is the one that stands out to me. There are 9 really bad teams. That's not the parity the NFL was striving for. The rest is actually what you expect, and even good news. You kind of expect with 32 teams that around 16 of them would be .500 or worse. It's actually a good thing that there are 7 teams with winning records in the playoffs. We've seen years where .500 or worse teams have gotten in, and that's not good.
