2024-25 Milwaukee Bucks Season Thread

Khris Middleton showing he's a broken down has been. Was awful last night vs the Clippers. Was an bad mistake the Bucks signed him when he opt'd out couple years ago. Was clear his body was shot then and they should have moved on but because of what he's done in MKE and how close he is to Giannis MKE kept him to a awful 3 year $100 million deal. Now they want to move on 1 1/2 later and will have to take a bad contract back and give up draft picks just to move on from him and his deal.

This Bucks team has dropped the ball big time trying to run it back each year. No longer a championship calibur team and has zero draft picks to rebuild with and only Giannis as the only asset to bring back the picks they have given away.

According to Brian Windhorst on his Hoop Collective podcast, the Bulls "are absolutely involved in conversations with the Suns involving possible Jimmy Butler situations" and could serve as the facilitator that absorbs Beal. This would open the door to what would likely be a five-team trade: Phoenix would get Butler, Milwaukee would get LaVine, Miami would get a package headlined by Khris Middleton, Bobby Portis and picks, and a fifth team would presumably absorb the contract of Pat Connaughton.

NO, not BOBBY!

Sounds like strong rumor right now on a Bucks trade is Middleton and draft pick(s) to Washington for Kyle Kuzma.

Is this a good trade for the Bucks?

I realize it gets the Bucks out from underneath Middleton's contract, but??

Kuzma is having a down year but to many people act like Middleton can be anything like he was 4 years ago. His body is shot. He's going to opt into his $34 million option for next year. I think I read Kuzma is like $40 million over the next two years so not much more then what Middleton will make.
