Honestly, the comments about Love seem to be the same. He is inconsistent with accuracy and still cannot seem to read a defense well enough.

Not optimistic about the kid. I think he is a backup at best the rest of his career. JMHO.

I heard the same BS for 3 years when Rodgers was backing up Favre. Let the kid play some real games with starters before passing any judgment IMHO.

Lot of these articles want to appease the masses who hate Love and don't want to hear anything good on him. Many of them have already made up his mind he's trash and will never be good. Hard to look good when you sit on a bench and your only game action is a spot start because of covid and getting a 2nd half playing with the 2nd and 3rd stringers against another teams 1st unit.

Sorry, I have seen enough of him.

I hope I am wrong and he is a very serviceable QB when AR retires after this year but I personally believe he won't be. I will eat my words, if he ends up being solid.

What have you seen? 1 game vs KC, spot duty vs Det? There is no body of work to judge him by. Actually the camp reports have been more positive this year.

Yes this week ML said Love had his best practice since he came into the league. Can't say bad reports off one or two guys giving camp reports. They are writers not football coaches. You can't judge Love until he's give actually playing time. Pre-season does not count either. Now will love get that playing time in GB or another team remains to be seen. If Rodgers decide to play next year GB might decide to trade Love instead of letting him become a FA and him deciding to leave instead of stay in GB.

I would disagree preseason does not count. Granted is very vanilla but there are things to pick up in film as a data point. And I’ll worry about next year …next year
