That’s why I mentioned Durant, not on a skill level but style of play. They will probably play the perimeter more than the post and assuming Holmgren plays a 4 in some situations he’s more athletic and can expose some 6-8 guy.

I’ve seen a Porzingis comp and that’s probably close. The one thing that impressed me at at Gonzaga is that he did not shy away from contact which is a good thing.

The point is at some point he’s going to get caught in bad matchups. Allen is not the only guy who does

Yeah but I rather have Allen out there right now then likely anyone they can get in FA as with limited payroll it won't be much
 
Blurb on Portis for CBS Sports

Portis signed a team-friendly deal after winning the 2021 title, and there's no reason for him to give the Bucks another discount. He's likely to come back, though -- in early June, Marc Stein reported that prospective suitors were assuming that they had no shot of convincing him to leave Milwaukee. The Bucks can sign him to a multi-year deal with a starting salary of up to $10.9 million, using Early Bird rights. Portis started for most of the season and some of the playoffs, and while he didn't shoot as well as he did in his first year in Milwaukee, the rebounding remained strong.
 
I think a 3 year deal will take Portis into retirement. I have a hunch he'd like going out as a member of the Bucks. It's like he said, last year. He's found a home.

In a way, that's kind of what Connaughton was saying when he used his option. I like guys like the two of them. They understand their roles, and play them well.

Kevin King plays better defense than Allen. I digress. Allen is fine in the system when it comes to spot up and shoot. As to creating offense he’s probably average, at best. I would have no issues with dealing him. Doubt he is
