I'm sure it's not a flat $6m and there are a lot of incentives, but it's besides the point. You can't keep a dead tree on your property for sentimental reasons, because eventually it will fall on your house. They've already been burned by him, why court another disaster?

Lousy use of 6m if you ask me. Don’t really see the point when we have 5 picks in the 1st 4 rounds of the draft. We could’ve just double dipped at CB like we usually do anyways... King has been relatively disappointing, super inconsistent and injury prone his entire tenure in GB. Really surprised Mngmt thought highly enough of him to give him another opportunity with a short championship window still open....

This is about more than Gute, its really about the entire organization, how they evaluate talent and that includes both pro and college. You would think / hope that by now the HC and the DC would have some input and into the roster and how they performed. If they dont that a much larger problem than signing Kevin King
