This is not new or ground breaking analysis, but it's still jarring to me to wake up the day after a Packer game and see how national media headlines are seemingly detached from the reality of the game I just watched with my own eyes. I thought it'd be interesting to keep a running thread of brain dead, tone deaf, reality defying Packer headlines. Feel free to contribute or not, just post a headline and a link.

So here we go, from this week's squeaker of a win over SF. To recap, a 1-4 team came to hallowed Lambeau for a prime time game with a back-up QB and a host of no-name RBs and one WR. They exploded out of the gate, ran circles around the Packer defense, and after a slow start on defense, put the screws to $100m+ QB Aaron Rodgers, who sulked and scowled and sacked his way through 57 minutes of lackluster football. It was only when Rodgers and Co. chose to elevate their game and try to play to their potential in the final 3 minutes that they were able to come away with a win. That's my summary using my own eyes. Here's what NFL media says, in headlines and a few video screen shots:

Aaron Rodgers’s knee isn’t quite right. But he’s still good enough to carry the Packers.
