American chinese food is a separate thing. China is a big place, I think their cuisine is otherwise regional

we had pot luck lunches once a month at my last job. there was somebody who always brought panda express food. it tasted like garbage to me. when you're used to authentic chinese food, there's no comparison. but obviously, some people do like it or they would be out of business.

my wife was born there and she along with her mom and 4 sisters moved here when she was high school age. mom married an american serviceman who fought in the korean war. my wife is an american citizen, so don't send ice okay. lol.
