2026 NFL Season Thread

First of all, Cherry Hill is more Philly than jersey ;)

I will keep an eye out. I'm shocked I've never heard of it. My uncle was a bartender for a long time, I spent a lot of time as a kid around old WWII and Vietnam bar flys and I thought I knew all the old regional beers. Guess not!
As a matter of coincidence, I grew up in Cherry Hill, and Benash Liquors was a few blocks from our house. Back then we didn't have Coors or Hamms or some other mid-western beers. Don't know when Hamms became available in NJ. (the text came from AI response)

So that State of IL crying it's broke and can't pay $800 million towards infrastructure towards a new stadium in Arlington Heights but now Chicago saying if the Bears leave they will spend $630 million on Solider Field to turn it into a updated concert and special events venue. $130 million would be spent on the stadium itself (Bears still owe about $500 million in bonds on thee last update to stadium in 2003) and another $500 million on infrastructure around the stadium. The Bears would owe Chicago $90 million if they leave before there lease is up in 2033 but Chicago would also rely on the State road fund to help pay the infrastructure bill. The city of Chicago and state of IL is so screwed up it's not funny but then again look at who's been running the joint.

No state or city should be paying anything towards building a stadium. Let the owners do it.

Bears are willing to pay the cost of the stadium. They are asking city and state to pay for infrastructure around it. Which is fair why should team have to build the roads to get to the stadium.
