Post Game GB at Dallas: OT ends in tie game. 40-40

Before we get to the defense, let's look at reality.:

The Packers are a blocked kick and a blocked PAT away from being 4-0 heading into the bye. The OL issue is a glaring one and has to be a priority. But the rest of the offensive stuff is with all due respect bitching because you can.

Defensively, this whole "we trade for one guy and no one will stop us," I've never really seen that to be true. While Reggie White was great, GB didn't go undefeated with him, and he had his share of woof games along with that defense.

Dallas knew MP better than anyone else, so of course, he wasn't going to have his best night. Beyond that, someone finally victimized our piss poor secondary that got zero help, added less Hobbs, who's a slot corner playing out of position.

Our LB in this scheme stopped being effective when the DL stopped winning battles up front. Dallas adjusted in the 2nd qtr and Haf failed to match. Honestly, I feel like he should have played more base than nickel and we might have slowed them down.

It's early and all fixable less ST and the OL which both need a ton of work. tc(

When Wyatt went out that was a huge loss for the D. Stackhouse a rookie UDFA had to play 40% of the snaps in the game. He's just not ready yet to be asked to do such a task.

I’ve not heard a thing about any of these guys except Watson. Lloyd likely comes back at some point but the other guys probably all get stashed.
i don't think they would have wasted one of their "designated for return" designations on monk if they didn't think he was coming back at some point.

There are a couple videos here, this is damning ST coach negligence. In summary, the first PAT was almost blocked by the exact same guy in the exact same place as the second PAT which was blocked and returned. No coach noticed this or corrected it at the time, leading to the game changing block. Embarrassing.

Opponents are seeing something on film and attacking it. I guarantee they will continue to try and exploit it. ST coaches are always looking for that edge.

That makes perfect sense, I would expect our expensive veteran ST coach to notice these things mid game and not allow the same mistake to happen twice, leading to catastrophe
