Post Game GB at Dallas: OT ends in tie game. 40-40

I read that our Coach thought our guys didn't understand we were in the two minute and were not playing fast enough at the end. WTF?????? Isn't that his job to make sure they know???? Isn't that his job to make sure they're prepared for those situations????

At least he admitted, the first 2 plays were stupid.

Got to let it go.

So, it was a horrible night.

But, there are bright spots.

  • Love - Did a lot with a little, didn't look flustered, and made the plays. He's turning me around again. Good on him.
  • The Offensive Line (including performance and strategy) - was it good, not really. But the strategy employed allowed it to at least perform.
  • The Offense in general i thought performed well. I was impressed how they kept coming back after the defense blew it time and again.

the defense was definitely a letdown after wyatt got injured.

Yeah but Cowboys fans used to sit around and bitch about him being held too, I don't want to hear it. There are other guys on that defense who either get paid or want to get paid, of course refs should call those holds but everyone else is allowed to make a play too.
explain all the other blatant holding calls that were not made (players other than parsons being held). i posted several. there are more, but i got tired of posting them. at some point, you have to realize that one team is being favored with bad calls and non-calls.

I realize it, I don't have data to back this up so it's an impression, but Dallas got themselves in "... and short" situations all night and I think refs are less likely to call holds on pass plays in those situations. I think it's like a catcher framing a ball for the ump. You'd like to think this isn't the case but their eyes are primed to look for things situationally and I think if some of these rushes happened in "... and long" they may have called it more.

Thats why I don't want excuses. GB's run defense failed and allowed Dallas into advantageous down and distance and all the perks that come with it as a home team. They were constantly 2nd and 4 or 5. No defense can live that way.
