It's possible maybe Walker was trying to do to much and with Cooper there now he can play in the system instead of trying to be superman and make the play and make mistakes because of that.

I think the role they shoved him into probably was too much for him, too soon. Mark has called out that, with a few exceptions, these Georgia guys all platoon. Quay wasn't running that defense and he wasn't playing full time. He's not the fastest processor of plays and had issues being where he was supposed to be. Still wasn't perfect last year but he really did come around.

Playing him as a 43 Mike is dumb..... Let your new JDJ do it..he's 243..called plays for 2 UGA championship teams. Quay needs to be SLB and Cooper at WLB. That we he's attacking the whole time.... plus both his DT are on the team now.

Quay might surprise the heck out of people given the correct opportunity.
