On paper, the concept looks good. You just need to fill in the weak spots, and make things more secure. That sounds good, but let's face reality. It's not going to work. If they do testing, there will be more and more players every week coming down with the virus. Some will be carriers for a time, infecting others inside the bubble, then show symptoms, and be sent into quarantine. It will continue until some teams are eliminated due to the numbers infected, or the league decides that enough is enough.

As promising as this season has been for the Bucks, and the fact that they have a real shot at winning means a lot to me. I'm 79 years old, and there's a good chance I'll never see them reach this level again. With the virus out there, and having underlying conditions, if I get it, I'm pretty much a dead man walking. I could say screw them, I want to see them win, but I'm not built that way. I see the pain that can be caused when others are needlessly infected, and die, or lose their livelihood, because of long reaching after effects of this virus. There's a reason the military will not accept anyone who has had the virus, even after they've been totally cleared as free from it.

I think the NBA is going to end up canceling their plans, and I won't be a bit disappointed. I see it coming, and probably the right thing.

NBA season does not resume will be interesting if Giannis takes his supermax or declines and wants to go to FA

I don’t have a strong opinion either way. Personally i don’t like the concept but I get the rationale. Comes down to testing and choices.

It's difficult for teams like the Bucks to hang onto high profile players. Beyond the scope of salaries, there are fans who have deep pockets, and offer lucrative perks that the NBA can't control. It could come in the form of homes, vehicles, and just about anything you can name. This is the same business plan that Bartolo's 49ers supporters were doing back in their great days. Things on the side that had nothing to do with football, but were the shiny objects that drew some players to the team, who may well have signed elsewhere.

Of course, what did anyone expect? The Bartolo clan was syndicate, but nobody raised an eyebrow.

Well one of their relatives now works for the Packers so maybe could bring it to GB ;)

well that did not hurt the Bucks in the past and the way the cap is not structured it wont happy in the future. Only way Giannis leaves if he cant see a path to winning a ring
