Bye Week Reflections

Can't leave out the Saints and, much as I hate to say it, the Queens, especially if either of them gets homefield

vikings have the same number of wins as the packers. it's going to be a dogfight. we just need to beat them head-to-head to secure the division. so that week #16 game is huge.

Vikings have a schedule that isn't the smoothest.

Three division games..........all at home. (division games are always slobberknockers)
Two away games on the west coast. (SEA & LAC)

All three of their losses have been on the road. Both those last two away games will be tough. Especially if Rivers plays like he did against GB instead of last night.

i'd say it's a slightly easier schedule than the packers face. if for no other reason than the packers have one more game than the vikings. but also because the

four away games . . . two against division opponents, and one against the nfc leaders. rodgers is .500 in away games.
two home games . . . one against a division rival.

Looking forward to Sunday! Hopefully, this will be an exciting game with a GB victory. We'll see if the Packers are truly an NFC contender. Unfortunately I have to go with my head on this one. I see the 49ers at home putting a lot of pressure on Rodgers and taking away his A- (and B-) game. And GB defense's bend don't break means time of possession will heavily favor SF. 24-17 SF.

Hope I'm wrong.
