MM may be exactly what that team needs right now. I never doubted his ability to stabilize and grow a team. He just isn’t the guy to take over the top.

yes and no. He started off well, but his play dropped off a bit. But I think he's concentrating more on football now than he was in Cleveland, and he's showing he's capable; there's no doubt in my mind that all the early success and popularity, and the commercials he was doing had some impact on his performance on the field - not sure he handled those distractions very well. And getting sent off humbled him a bit.Sorry... not really, they did nothing to coach him. What he has done in Tampa shows without a doubt that Cleveland and Stefanski mucked it up.
What a mess
Never know though I can see now he will be a hot name for DC but with him being under contract would force another team to trade for him. If I am Buffalo or Jets looking for a DC I am calling Cleveland asking would you take a 6th or 7th round pick to let him come herewhat a mess indeed. i wonder if ml would have preferred schwartz for his dc?
Who can say. Schwartz looked like he was going to get that job, he didn't and now he's pissed but he's still under contract in Cleveland. In any kind of match making, timing is everything. The person you want needs to be available at the same time you're looking. Even now it's not clear Schwartz is available.what a mess indeed. i wonder if ml would have preferred schwartz for his dc?
Chargers are hiring Western Michigan defensive coordinator Chris O'Leary as their defensive coordinator.
Yes, Buffalo fans are saying he sucks but maybe as a DC he may have been in over his head but as a position coach with Buffalo he seemed to do a pretty good job. So moving back to secondary coach he could once again thrive.I forgot where I saw it, but as Mark and others have said, getting Bobby Babich seems to be viewed as a really good hire by the Packers.
