2025 Badger Football Thread

UW has been outscored 122-20 in Big Ten play. Has to be the worst Big Ten team in over 30 years. Gone from a program that got to a bowl game in nearly every season in over 30 years to the laughing stock of the Power 4.
 
Luke Fickell says Christian Alliegro broke his arm in the first quarter. Put a cast on it and played every snap after he came back in.

You're right.

I don't know what type of break it is, but it's not like Wisconsin is playing for anything. He should have been sat down regardless of how much he wanted to play.

Coach Fick is confusing me in a bad way. This is bad leadership.

I read a headline that the AD talked to the players.

Trying to prove and I quote "They still care" by playing a kid hurt is a bad look.

I agree with this but I know you are very knowledgeable on the ortho side of injuries, but I'll say this, depending on the fracture, guys are soft casted up every week and they play just fine with fractured bones.

100% but not in-game. You pull him and let them set it and cast it after. This screams Coaching staff trying to save jobs.
 
Luke Fickell 0-9 vs ranked teams. UW has two more teams that are ranked right now to play in Oregon and IU and see if IL makes it back into the top 25 by the time they play them. So a 0-11 perhaps 0-12 vs ranked teams in 3 years at UW.

Playing devils advocate, may have been a stress fracture, hairline fracture and non displaced. I would have a hard time believing that the medical staff would allow a displaced arm fracture, to go back into the game. That's just my opinion though and playing devils advocate
 
One year ago today was the last time the Badgers won a conference game in the Big Ten

Other sad stats the longest runs this year by WI are by WR Trech Kekahuna (61 yards) and Punter Sean West (20 yards).

Crazy that not one UW RB has gotten a 20 yard run or longer this year.
